Portnoy, known for his no-nonsense pizza reviews, visited the shop at 104 Main St. and posted a 1-minute, 30-second video sharing his thoughts. Before even taking a bite, he wasn’t sold on the restaurant’s signage.
"Generally, I don’t like this signage. Doesn’t mean the pizza’s going to be bad, it’s just too generic," Portnoy said.
After his first bite, his reaction was clear.
"You know what? This pizza tastes exactly how that sign looks," Portnoy said. "When I see that, I expect this to be the pizza."
His final score? A 6.8 out of 10: "If you get generic signs, you’re generally going to get generic pizza."
